Security Statement

CTIec Inc. is committed to providing the Real Estate industry with the leading secure electronic commerce network. CTIec provides an electronic commerce environment that complies with industry standard security technology and practices to ensure the security and privacy of each transaction.

CTIec.com is the Internet based system designed and created by CTIec, Inc. to provide CTIec's customers the ability to order, status, and receive products. In order to ensure the security and privacy of the transactions conducted on CTIec.com a combination of several widely accepted security methods are utilized. CTIec.com utilizes a combination of firewall security, Digital Certificates and Secure Socket Layer (SSL), and username and password protection for access to the CTIec site.

CTIec utilizes a leading firewall system to provide the CTIec web servers with secure access to the public Internet. Firewall technology protects the CTIec network from unauthorized access. CTIec utilizes digital certificates and Secure Socket Layer technology to ensure secure transmission of the users information. (SSL) technology, the industry-standard method for protecting web communications was developed by Netscape Communications Corporation. The SSL security protocol provides data encryption, server authentication, message integrity, and optional client authentication for a TCP/IP connection. Because SSL is built into all major browsers and web servers, simply installing a digital certificate turns on their SSL capabilities.

SSL comes in two strengths, 40-bit and 128-bit, which refer to the length of the "session key" generated by every encrypted transaction. The longer the key, the more difficult it is to break the encryption code. Most browsers support 40-bit SSL sessions, and the latest browsers enable users to encrypt transactions in 128-bit sessions - trillions of times stronger than 40-bit sessions. CTIec utilizes 128-bit encryption in transmission of all data. Digital Certificates and SSL technology is the standard security technology for data transmitted to and from the leading Internet browsers. The Secure Socket Layer technology encrypts the data transmitted and received from the browser to the web server. The Secure Socket Layer technology utilized by CTIec ensures the user that unauthorized parties cannot access their information.

The CTIec web site utilizes usernames and passwords to identify each unique user on the CTIec network. Each CTIec user is assigned a unique username and password. The username and password identifies the CTIec user on the network and ensures the CTIec user that their information and transactions will be kept secure and separate from other CTIec users. The combination of these three technologies allows CTIec to provide its customers with the most commonly accepted security measures and a secure method of conducting electronic commerce.
